We are excited to announce that in partnership with ÎLO307 INC., we will be running a 7 Wonders Duel Tournament on Saturday, June 3rd, starting at 2:00pm!  Everyone participating in the tournament will receive promo cards for 7 Wonders Duel.  Further prizing and rules to follow!   You can read more about the game here: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/173346/7-wonders-duel
There will be a teaching session for the game, ahead of the tournament, so even beginners can play in the tournament!

Pandemic Survival

Pandemic Survival is an extreme version of Pandemic where teams of two players face each other simultaneously with the same objective in mind: be the first to find all four cures or be the sole survivor at the end of the game!
Pandemic Survival will be running twice on the weekend, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10:00am until 12:00pm and on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.  If you’d like to preregister for either event please fill out this form by May 31, 2017 to secure your spot. Please let us know if you’re looking for a partner or if you have one as you try to save the Earth!

Play Your Fave Gaming Project

One of the best parts of any gaming convention is being able to play games you love with people you love.  Maybe the second best thing is learning new games and making new friends, both of which become lifetime loves!  And that’s what the Play Your Fave Gaming Project offers our attendees!
Each attendee is invited to commit to teaching one or more of their favourite games on any of the days of the con.  We will have sign up sheets at the convention, released each morning, for people to sign up for the scheduled games!

Game Library

Here is a link of the over 250 games that we will have available for attendees to play at the convention.  Depending on numbers, we will work to have teachers available for games in the library.

Bring and Buy Auction

On the Saturday of OtonaCon attendees will have the opportunity to sell and buy games from the other attendees. OtonaCon will take either $1 or 10% of the sale price, whichever is higher, as a service cost.
Attendees will have dedicated shelves to display their games for sale during the Bring and Buy Auction.
Games must be laid out in the appropriate area by 12:00pm on Saturday, but may be put up earlier.
Starting at 12:00pm, attendees may walk through the area to see which games are available for purchase. Starting at 1:00pm attendees may purchase games by taking the game to the OtonaCon representative.
For each game for sale there should be three prices, one for 1:00pm, one for 3:00pm, and a final one for 5:00pm. The Bring and Buy will end at 5:30pm. The area where games are displayed will be cleared at 12:55am, 2:55pm, and 4:55pm, with a line forming for people anxious to purchase a game. If you purchase a game between 1:00pm and 2:55pm you pay the 1:00pm price, and so on for the 3:00pm and 5:00pm times.
Prices must be in full dollar amounts.
Item Sheets and Item Forms can be printed off and filled out ahead of the convention by following the below links:
If you have any questions, please contact Greig Ashfield.
Proceeds from your sales must be picked up between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on the Saturday night.
Games not picked up by 7:00pm will become the property of OtonaCon.
